Cavo Grosso · Zakynthos Town main port
Cavo Grosso's pirate ship spends a full day going right round the west coast, past the Blue Caves and Navagio and down to Keri, with three swim stops and a show on deck. Pick it for the side of Zakynthos the turtle boats never reach, and accept that you'll see the famous wreck from the water, not the sand.

This is a different trip from the rest of the site. The turtles live in the south; the cliffs, the caves and the wreck are in the west and north. Cavo Grosso's pirate-themed ship leaves the main port in Zakynthos Town and goes all the way round: a sulphur-water swim at Xigia, the Blue Caves, Navagio, Porto Vromi, the Shiza beach, the Agalas or Dragon caves and the Keri Caves, before passing Marathonisi and Pelouzos on the way home.
Be clear about Navagio. The beach has been closed to landings since 2022, and the latest decision, reported by To Vima, bans swimming in the cove and keeps all boats at least 50 m from the shore until at least 31 October 2026. You get a photo stop from the water. For the classic view down onto the wreck, drive to the clifftop viewpoint above Anafonitria, which is free. Our Navagio update tracks the 2027 status.
The deck is part of the deal: pirate shows, Greek dancing and a sound system, which suits families and groups more than couples after quiet. Food isn't included; BBQ souvlaki, snacks and drinks are sold on board. Turtles are possible on the return past Marathonisi, but this isn't a turtle trip. For that, add a glass-bottom boat or the Zante Mare speedboat on another day.
Meet Cavo Grosso staff at the main port. Pickup, if you chose that option, takes about an hour.
